T1 transit procedure
Fast and comprehensive T1 transit procedure (exports) service at the free port of Hamburg with DHL Express
Do you have goods from non-European community countries that are to be transported from the free port of Hamburg to destinations outside of Germany using the DHL Express network - instead of being entered into free circulation? Then take advantage of the fast and comprehensive full service from DHL Express for the T1 transit procedure (export).
We handle the complete customs procedure for you, from registration in the NCTS (new computerized transit system) including surety and creation of the T1 document to the sealing of your express shipments. The only requirement is an international DHL Express account number (starting with 14).

GoGreen
With our GOGREEN service, the CO2 emissions caused by transportation are calculated in accordance with the specifications of ISO 14064 and as part of our climate protection programme offset through external projects and internal measures in accordance with ISO 14064.
The entire process is audited and certified by an external certification company. This service is not available for Day Definite shipments.
Diplomatic Material
Diplomatic Material - 15 years' experience and finesse

Shipments in the Diplomatic Material are processed with priority and accompanied across borders by trained professionals. We have over 15 years' experience of doing this.

- You are authorised to send diplomatic correspondence. You belong to the diplomatic corps and are a signatory of the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations

Handling

What does cash on delivery mean?
Our cash on delivery solution offers a secure and quick system for collecting up to EUR 5,000 per express shipment. Your goods are only handed over against payment of the cash on delivery sum you request. The recipient can pay the sum in cash or using other secure means of payment (depending on the destination country). The money is transferred to you within three days.

DHL EXPRESS IDENT
What is DHL EXPRESS IDENT?
Shipments sent using EXPRESS IDENT are only handed over by the Express courier when the recipient has provided legitimate and official proof of identity. You can use the special delivery guidelines to determine the minimum requirements and deviations that may be tolerated. On request we will also oversee the signing of a contract.
When the shipment is handed over, the proof of legitimate identity is noted on an ID page that both the courier and recipient sign. The ID page is sent to you by the Express ID service centre responsible using express transport.
