The fuel supplement for Time Definite International is calculated on the basis of the average spot price of kerosene/ aircraft fuel, which is calculated monthly. The supplement will be 16.5 % in February 2012 and relates only to the net sum of your shipments. Additional surcharges are not subject to this fuel supplement.

The fuel supplement for DHL ECONOMY SELECT is calculated on the basis of the oil bulletin for diesel fuel, issued by the European Commission. The supplement relates only to the net sum of your shipments. The net price is understood as the basic shipment price (based on weight or volume) without additional surcharges and without VAT.

For imported shipments transported with the "Handover to forwarding agent" optional service or if T1 shipments have to be stored in the customs warehouse, DHL will store shipments free of charge for up to 2 days. The recipient will incur extra costs for longer periods of storage.

Subsequent invoicing and reimbursement of customs charges for a shipment which has already cleared customs based on information which DHL Express only received after the import.

DHL reports the customs value of a shipment with more than 3 different goods tariff numbers (items) separately for each individual item.
