DHL has the know-how and experience necessary to design and manage warehouse and distribution processes, so that product flows are optimized and supply chain costs are driven down. Our customers can reduce their stockholdings and increase service levels, while maintaining the flexibility required to meet fast-changing market demands.
Most of DHL's finished goods warehouses act as distribution centers, in which stock is split and recombined for delivery to retail outlets and other destinations. These warehouses can be dedicated or shared-user, ambient or temperature-controlled, and include order processing, inventory management, pre-retailing or other value added services.
We also handle the design, implementation and operation of both dedicated and shared-user sites, including narrow-aisle, high-bay, temperature-controlled, automated, semi-automated, hanging garment, bonded, rail-connected and mezzanine, as well as sector-specific and conventional warehousing.
