DHL Paket Germany will not ship any products, the transport or storage of which is subject to hazardous goods regulations. For exceptions, please refer to the second part of "Rules governing the transport of hazardous substances and objects".
Hazardous goods are defined as contents which are
- explosive
- gaseous
- inflammable
- pose a risk of contagion
- toxic
- caustic
- environmentally dangerous
- radioactive
or which have any other hazardous properties or physical states as defined by the ADR (Accord Européen sur le transport des marchandises dangereuses par route).
Please note that many everyday products are considered hazardous goods under transport law, even if we would not normally consider them hazardous because we often underestimate their harmful potential. These include for example hairspray, perfume, matches, table tennis balls and freshening wipes.
Special value limits are applicable to the transport of particularly valuable goods with DHL Paket Germany.
