DHL Express serves over 500 airports in Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America, Middle East and Africa and approximately 50 in the U.S. With such an extensive global coverage and density, our air network is unparalleled in the express industry. It forms the backbone of our international express delivery organization.

We maintain a sophisticated system of standardized air express routes. Our routes are served by DHL-owned airlines as well as contracted partner and third party airlines. To enhance our capabilities and economics, we commercialize excess air capacities by offering an airport-to-airport service to our sister companies and third parties.

Aircraft and Facilities

DHL Express has established guidelines that ensure only the safest and most modern, climate-friendly aircraft are used at all times. In the same way, all new air facilities must offer state-of-the-art technology and the highest environmental and safety standards.

Our Leipzig Hub is an industry-leading air facility with state-of-the-art technology and throughput of 2,000 tonnes per night. The hub is equipped with the latest solar energy and water recycling systems.

European Air Transport Leipzig (EAT) is DHL's airline

European Air Transport Leipzig GmbH (EAT) is one of DHL's airlines for Europe and parts of the Middle East and Northern Africa Region.
Today we hold a top position in air cargo. Our unvarying aim is to deliver DHL's packages to the right place within the right time.

EAT's headquarter is at Leipzig/Halle Airport in Germany.

Our flight crews operate Boeing B757 equipment, mainly during the night. Our fleet counts 11 aircraft in total, flying to more than 50 destinations.
