To receive notification of the expected day of delivery, the "Address continued" (or equivalent) field on the parcel must contain your PostNumber. The address on the parcel must also match the registration data we hold for you.

Please also check that you have entered your e-mail address or mobile phone number correctly in your profile settings.

If you wish to receive your parcel on a day other than the notified day, you can use the preferred day service option. Simply log in to www.paket.de and move your delivery day by up to six days.

DHL will then attempt, within the limits of the available delivery processes, to deliver the shipment on your preferred day.

7. I have responded to an e-mail notification. What happens now?

You can only request a preferred day by replying to our notification via SMS.

Would you prefer to be notified of the expected delivery date by SMS as well as by e-mail in future? If so, simply register your mobile phone number under Customer login / Data.

8. Why hasn’t my parcel arrived on the notified delivery day?

Of course, we always endeavour to deliver your parcel on the agreed day, as announced. Sometimes, however, in exceptional circumstances, we may not be able to deliver on the agreed day.

Your preferred day delivery naturally remains free of charge if we were unable to deliver the shipment on the desired day.

9. How much does the service cost?

The preferred day service option is temporarily available free of charge at www.paket.de.
