DHL recipient service - Preferred neighbour


1. Register at

Simply register free of charge at Are you already registered at or Packstation? Then simply log in on the right in the grey login area.


2. Define your preferred neighbour

In your profile, you can enable the preferred neighbour service and specify your chosen stand-in recipient.

Please note that your chosen stand-in recipient must be located in your immediate neighbourhood, i.e. be in the same building or be right next door.


3. Ordering parcels

When ordering parcels to your home address, always specify your PostNumber.


4. Drop-off with your preferred neighbour

If you are not at home when the delivery agent calls, your shipment will be left with the specified stand-in recipient.


5. Notification

You will receive an e-mail and/or SMS notification that your parcel has been left with your preferred stand-in recipient.

Define someone in your immediate neighbourhood with whom we can leave your parcels if you are not around. This will enable us to deliver your shipments to you even if you're not at home.
