Encrypt your invoices for secure email dispatch

Data security is a key issue at Deutsche Post DHL, especially when it comes to modern communication tools. Ensuring the security of information concerning you and your end customers is a matter of great importance to us.

In order to ensure sensitive billing information is even better protected in future, we are introducing a convenient functionality for our business customers. As of April 2021, invoices can be protected with encryption so that only you, as the recipient, are able to open the files. Encrypting your invoices in this way protects them against access by unauthorized third parties.

Please adjust your encryption settings in the Deutsche Post DHL Group Self Service Portal (SSP) to add more security to your billing.

What action is required?

Once you have registered in the Self Service Portal (SSP) and chosen a password, all your future invoices will be sent as a password-protected file attached to an email. These can then be opened either manually at the click of your mouse (with password authorization) or automatically via your IT system (with password authorization).

If you do not set up the encryption for sending invoices by email and do not save a password, we will only provide you with your invoices online as PDF files in the Post & DHL Business Customer Portal.
