DHL Express Germany GmbH and Customer have agreed the clearance of the shipments imported by Customer according to the Power of Attorney granted for customs clearance until revoked in writing. The services are performed by DHL Express itself or DHL Hub Leipzig GmbH or DHL Airways GmbH as customs service providers and sub-authorized representatives of DHL Express (hereinafter referred to as "DHL Express"). DHL Express and its customs service providers are entitled to further subcontract and sub-authorize third parties.

DHL Express and Customer hereby make an additional agreement regarding the customs clearance of returned goods.

Please choose one of the following options:

Option I: Even if shipments are identified as returned goods by information available on the accompanying documents (e. g. indications like return shipment, repair etc.) they shall be directly declared for release for free circulation with collection of import duties and taxes. A clearance as returned goods chargeable according to the DHL price list is not desired.

Option II: Shipments identified as returned goods by information available on the accompanying documents (e. g. indications like return shipment, repair etc.) shall be cleared as returned goods under exemption from duties and taxes without consulting the (re-)importer if all necessary export information and documents are available. This service will be charged according to the DHL price list.

Option III: Shipments identified as returned goods by information available on the accompanying documents (e. g. indications like return shipment, repair etc.) shall be cleared differently depending on the goods value: Shipments containing returned goods valued <_______ EUR shall be directly declared for release for free circulation with collection of import duties and taxes. Shipments containing returned goods valued >_______ EUR shall be cleared as returned goods under exemption from duties and taxes without consulting the (re-)importer if all necessary export information and documents are available. This service will be charged according to the DHL price list.
