All the result of additional investment in activities to avoid carbon emissions in our logistics network in Germany. These include the use of biogas-powered trucks, electric delivery vehicles, fuels made from hydrogenated vegetable oil (HVO) and heat pumps installed at our delivery bases.

How to book GoGreen Plus

in your DHL Customer Account or in the Post & DHL App

Log in to your DHL customer account

At dhl.de/kundenkonto under "My Data & Services" in the Sustainability section, select the recipient service GoGreen Plus.
 

In the Post & DHL App

Choose and book GoGreen Plus in the Post & DHL App under "Mehr > Einstellungen > DHL Kundenkonto > Nachhaltigkeit > Empfängerservice.

Payment

Select a payment method or DHL bonus points if you have enough points. After successful booking, you will receive all your shipments in a climate-neutral way.

Receiving shipments with GoGreen Plus

You receive all your shipments climate neutrally with GoGreen Plus for 12 months and make an contribution to sustainability.

In order for us to be able to allocate all received shipments to you, it is important that you have entered matching data when ordering in the online shop and in the DHL customer account.

Our tip: Do you want to make your customer account even more secure and the receipt of parcels more convenient? When registering for one of our premium services, such as Packstation or digital notification, you will go through an address and recipient validation. This also increases the reliability of the allocation of shipments to your customer account.

... and improve your carbon footprint when shipping parcels and small packages to distant destinations by air. Booking GoGreen Plus International means we can use biojet fuel (sustainable aviation fuel) for air freight shipments on a growing number of routes. We calculate the carbon emissions generated by your shipment, use a corresponding amount of biojet fuel in our aviation network and implement additional emission reduction measures. The service can be booked for shipments to Australia, Israel and the US.

In order for us to allocate as many received shipments to you as possible and for you to be able to make full use of all the receipt options you have selected, it is important that your recipient data and your data in the DHL customer account match (e.g. complete and correct spelling of first and last name, identical e-mail address, Post number if applicable, etc.).

Our tip: When registering for one of our premium services - Packstation or digital notification - you will go through an address and recipient validation. This not only makes your customer account more secure and the receipt of parcels more convenient, but also increases the reliability of the allocation of items to the customer account.

With GoGreen, we have been offering shippers the option of subsequently offsetting the greenhouse gas emissions of their shipments by investing in global climate protection projects since 2007.

With GoGreen Plus we are reaching the next level of sustainable logistics, i.e. through additional investments in our logistics network in Germany, such as the use of electric trucks and delivery vehicles or the CO2-neutral conversion of production facilities, the emission of greenhouse gases is avoided.

There is no specific reference to the individual shipment with this service; we offer the direct choice of a sustainable transport option for the shipment, for example, with the private customer shipping service rail transport.
