Preferred Day is a service provided by DHL Paket that allows the recipient to postpone the delivery of parcels by up to six working days. The service can either be arranged by the sender during shipment preparation (subject to a fee) or by the recipient during the parcel’s transit (free of charge).
As a recipient, you can also permanently set a delivery day in your DHL customer account under My Data & Services, specifying on which weekdays all your future parcels should be delivered. This service is free of charge.
