Help with printing shipping labels

Print the shipping labels by using a PDF reader, e.g. Adobe Reader. Your final shipping label is displayed in a PDF document which you can print out directly.

Requirements

• The shipping labels are available as PDF downloads. You will need an Adobe Reader to view the PDF document. You can download it here free of charge. Please note that the PDF download is only available once.

• Internet connection for use and printing

• Current Internet Browser (all common browsers are supported)

• A valid, personal e-mail address for receiving the order confirmation and subsequent access to your shopping cart

• Printer

• DIN A 4 paper (light plain color, white or recycled) or labels

Tip:

If you do not have a printer available or do not have a PDF reader installed on your computer, we recommend the Mobile Paketmarke - a QR code that is included in the e-mail confirming your order. You can show this code on your smartphone at the Packstation, at the postal outlet or to the delivery agent and have the shipping label printed out.

Notes:

1. Coupon codes are also displayed on this page after payment. Simply click on the "Download" button and save your coupon codes as a text file locally on your computer.
2. From now on Java printing is no longer available. The settings necessary for using Java printing often caused problems and requests from customers. With some browser and operatingsystem versions, Java printing was not available at all. By providing the shipping label as a PDF download, the printing of your shipping labels is thus simplified.

• No, no special address label is required for franking of Päckchen and DHL parcels.
• The shipping label can be printed on a plain standard DIN A 4 paper (white or recycled).
• Attach the shipping label to your shipment (e.g. with a glue stick). It is important that no information is covered by the shipping label.
• Please note: For express shipments, attach the shipping label to your shipment and hand over a copy of the proof of posting to the DHL driver.
• You are also welcome to use label paper (divided in cross direction A4, i.e. 2x DIN A5). For example, the company Avery Zweckform© offers a suitable product with the universal labels No. 3655.
• In the store of Deutsche Post you can easily buy suitable adhesive labels.

In general, the shipping label can only be printed once. If the print fails, the system will recognize this and you can independently reset the print.

Just click on the link to download the shipping label. After entering and confirming the displayed code, you will receive the shipping label again.

If the repeated postage printing fails again or you have technical problems, please contact our customer service.

The shipment information provides you with all important details about your shipment in a clear and concise way. The shipment number and zip code are necessary for the shipment tracking.

Therefore the shipment information is only created for shipments with tracking (i.e. not in the case of Päckchen).

When you drop off your shipment at the postal outlets/partner branches of Deutsche Post or Postbank, you will receive a separate deposit receipt at the counter.

When placing the item in a Packstation, the customer will receive a separate deposit receipt at the Packstation or, as a registered customer, by e-mail upon request.

If you do not have your own printer at home, you can have the parcel label printed at a Packstation, in any branch or Poststation, in a parcel shop, or by a DHL delivery agent of your choice.*

To do this, simply show the QR code on your tablet or smartphone for scanning. The staff at the branch or the Packstation will print the parcel label for you.

At Packstations without a printer (such as app‑controlled Packstations), you can deposit your shipment without a label, and we will take care of everything else.

*Due to the required customs documents, shipping labels for destinations outside the EU can currently only be printed in post offices, Poststations, and Packstations equipped with a printer.

Additionally, write the complete recipient address on the right side of the label. Alternatively, you can also print the complete address on a sticker and place it on the right side of the parcel next to the shipping label.
