At Deutsche Post & DHL, we take a consistent approach to our goal of sustainability. Since 2011, we have been transporting with GoGreen all national parcels and packages for our DHL private customers in a CO2-compensated manner through investments in global climate protection projects, thus helping to protect the environment. Since July 2022, GoGreen is also automatically included with international private customer shipments.
With the new GoGreen Plus service, we are now taking sustainable shipping and receiving to the next level by actively avoiding emissions.
Sustainable shipping with DHL. By investing in certified climate protection projects worldwide, we can offset the greenhouse gas emissions generated in the transportation of your shipments.
Low emission shipping with DHL. Through additional investment in our logistics network in Germany, we reduce the greenhouse gas emissions generated in the transportation of your shipments.

In order for us to be able to allocate all received shipments to you as far as possible, it is important that you have entered matching data when ordering in the online shop and in the DHL customer account (e.g. complete and correct spelling of first and last name, identical e-mail address, Post number if applicable, etc.).
Our tip: Do you want to make your customer account even more secure and the receipt of parcels more convenient? When registering for one of our premium services, such as Packstation or digital notification, you will go through an address and recipient validation. This also increases the reliability of the allocation of shipments to your customer account.
