To respond to changing conditions in the transportation market and to address the significant increase in costs charged by our transport service providers, DHL Paket International applies a surcharge per kilogram (or part thereof) on top of the base price for shipments to certain destination countries. This surcharge helps maintain transport services in both global and regional freight networks, enabling us to continue meeting our transportation commitments to customers as comprehensively as possible under changing market conditions.

Prices may vary due to a number of factors, including seasonal changes in airline schedules and corresponding air freight costs. As a result, price adjustments may be made on 1 January or 1 July of any given year. Should exceptional circumstances require an adjustment outside of these dates, we will inform you separately and in good time.
