Yes, a pick-up can be booked for all shipments directly in Online franking or separately via the pick-up service link. You can have your shipments picked up from your preferred address anywhere in Germany or also from your parcel box at home.

You also have the option of registering a preferred location for the pick-up of your shipments if you are ever not home.

You can drop off your shipments at several locations:

  • Branch of the Deutsche Post or Postbank
  • DHL Parcel Shop
  • DHL Packstations*
  • DHL parcel box*
  • DHL delivery staff

* Please note that Express shipments cannot be dispatched through a Packstation or a parcel box.

You can easily track the status of your domestic and international parcels online using DHL Tracking. Simply enter the tracking number and follow your shipment.

You can also access your DHL shipment directly from your order confirmation. For shipments that include tracking, the tracking number in the order confirmation is already linked to DHL Tracking.

For parcels within Germany, you can optionally request email notifications for various shipment statuses.
Notification about label purchase:

You can inform your recipient by email that a shipping label has been purchased. Simply enter the recipient’s email address under the delivery address. After the label is purchased, the recipient automatically receives an email.

Notification about the expected delivery day:
You can notify your recipient by email about the expected delivery day of the parcel.

Notification about successful delivery:
You can receive an email once your shipment has been successfully delivered.

In general, a pickup on the desired working day (Mo.-Sa.) usually takes place between 8 am and 6 pm, in exceptions also until 8 pm.

If our delivery staff should not be able to meet you at the scheduled pick-up time, please contact our customer service.

Alternatively, you can specify an optional location for the pickup if you are not at home at the time of pickup.

A collection arranged through the hotline can be cancelled by telephone.
