With the synthetic scan, you will in future receive a digital collection notification on the same day DHL takes over the shipment. This creates greater transparency in the shipment journey for your recipients and enables you to demonstrate your shipping performance to marketplaces and platforms.

What is new?

A digital collection event will automatically be generated for shipments with RegioV collection and displayed in shipment tracking. This makes it visible that DHL has already taken over the shipment or that the shipment has been made available for collection by DHL. 

The following status messages will appear in shipment tracking:

  • "The shipment has been collected by DHL."

  • "The shipment has been made available for collection by DHL. "
     

What do you need to do?

To enable the synthetic scan to be generated, the PAN data for your shipments must be transmitted to DHL correctly and on time. Otherwise, no synthetic scans can be generated for that day

You create your shipment and transmit the PAN data to DHL. 

2 RegioV collection

The RegioV collection takes place.

3 Synthetic scan

DHL automatically generates a synthetic scan as digital proof of collection. 

4 Status visible

The status appears in shipment tracking for both sender and recipient.
