The DHL Packstation is a pick-up station for parcels and packages with self-service lockers.

With DHL Packstation, you receive parcels when and where it suits you: After you have registered once, you can enter your preferred Packstation as your shipping address and pick up your parcels round the clock*.

You can also hand in returns and other franked parcels at the Packstation.

Moreover, you can automatically collect valuable bonus points when you receive and ship your parcels with a DHL Packstation.

1. Registration

To use the Packstation, you must first register for a DHL customer account. During registration, you have the option to sign up for Packstation.

 

2. Activation & Verification

You will then receive an e-mail from us for confirmation. After confirming your registration, we will verify your details - this can be done via a letter sent to your registered address or online using the POSTIDENT procedure.

 

3. Install the App & Activate Your Device

To receive shipments at the Packstation, you need the Post & DHL App to get the pickup code for your parcels. Please download the app from your app store. In addition, you must activate your device in the Post & DHL App under the "Packstation" menu. After that, you can address your orders to the Packstation and conveniently pick them up there.

 

Already have a customer account?

If you are already a registered DHL customer, you can sign up for Packstation under "My Data & Services" > "Parcel Reception" > "Packstation." Then, simply activate your device in the Post & DHL App and start using Packstation to receive shipments.
 

For sending parcels at a Packstation, no registration is required.

You can use any Packstation with your registration. You are not tied to a specific Packstation. An overview of all available Packstations can be found in our location finder as well as in the Post & DHL App under "Locations."

Which Packstation you want to use can be selected individually for each shipment, so even if you move, there is no need to cancel the service.

With your registration for the Packstation, your shipments will not automatically be delivered to a Packstation. Each time you receive a new shipment, you can choose whether you would like to have the shipment sent to a Packstation or to your home address.

If you would like to have a shipment sent to a Packstation, simply enter your post number and specify the address of any Packstation as the delivery address. Instructions for correct addressing can be found here.

You can also set the Packstation as the delivery location for a permanent parcel redirection in your customer account.

If your online shop offers Packstation without requiring registration, you do not need to register separately. Simply enter the desired Packstation address when placing your order in the online shop. You can select your Packstation using our location finder.

Once the shipment is in the Packstation, you will receive a notification by email, which also includes the pickup code. For app-controlled Packstations without a screen, you will additionally need the Post & DHL App to collect your shipment.

The post number is your personal DHL customer number, which is assigned to you after registering for a DHL customer account. The post number is generated automatically and is directly linked to your customer account, i.e. the number is not transferable. After registering, you can view the post number in your customer account.

You need the post number to receive parcels at a Packstation or a postal outlet. So if you order a parcel to a Packstation or postal outlet, you need to enter your post number in the additional address field of the delivery address when you place your order.

In addition, your post number facilitates the assignment of all other shipments to your customer account, regardless of whether your shipments are sent to a postal outlet or your home address. This way, you will receive a parcel notification and the shipment will automatically appear in your shipment overview and the Post & DHL App.
