What is new?

In the future, DHL will provide an interactive report within the Post & DHL Business Customer Portal. This report will show the expected transit times of your parcel shipments for the respective destination regions within Germany.

The prognosis data will be provided by injection point and quarter. In addition, DHL will report quarterly on the actual achievement of the forecasted transit times.

For the first time, this gives you a data-based foundation for planning and customer communication.

What do you need to do?

No technical adjustments are required to use the DHL Laufzeitprognose (Transit time forecast).

As soon as the report becomes available in the Post & DHL Business Customer Portal, the administrator stored in the portal can grant access to additional colleagues.

We recommend informing the departments that will use the transit time information in the future, such as shipping, production or customer service.

How it works

1 Determine transit times

DHL calculates expected transit times for different delivery regions.

2 Provide forecasts

The forecasts are made available in the Business Customer Portal.

3 Use the information

You use the information for shipment planning, production management and customer communication.

4 Receive forecast achievement

In addition, you receive the actual achievement of the forecasts reported on a quarterly base.
